Running a choir can be an expensive business; investing in new music, hiring of premises and printing costs all take a toll on the available funds. Day to day running of the choir is funded by the members themselves through an annual subscription. Any surplus from concert ticket sales are used to organise further concerts and singing trips.
The choir always welcomes extra support from individuals and businesses who wish to sponsor the Choir. See below for two ways that you can support us:
Friends
For a donation of a minimum of £25 per year payable by annual standing order:
- You will receive regular emails giving details of forthcoming concerts and events. This includes details of Concerts, Social Events and Away Trips.
- You would be invited to join such events. (Away events availability would depend on Coach Capacity with priority given to Choir members and guests).
- You will also receive a copy of the choir’s Newsletter.
- To become a FRIEND please complete the standing order form available below:
Patrons
For a donation of a minimum of £120 per year payable monthly, quarterly, half yearly or annually by standing order:
- You will be entitled to ONE free ticket to a HMVC organised concert per year, June to May. Application for tickets should be made to the Membership Secretary.
- You will be listed as a Patron of HMVC on our website and in Programmes for HMVC organised concerts.
- You will receive regular emails giving details of forthcoming concerts and events. This includes details of Concerts, Social Events and Away Trips.
- You would be invited to join such events. (Away events availability would depend on Coach Capacity with priority given to Choir members and guests).
- You will also receive a copy of the choir’s Newsletter.
